It’s a three-way blockbuster trade on Sunday, with Matt Duchene and Kyle Turris involved, and the Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators making a massive move after days of growing anticipation.

Per the reports that are flooding in, the Senators are off to a good start once again and it certainly helps having their star defenseman Erik Karlsson back healthy., Matt Duchene is going to the Ottawa Senators. After making it to the Eastern Conference Final during the 2017 playoffs

In Duchene, the Senators add a talented offensive threat to their lineup, which could certainly bolster their standing as a potential contender in the East. They will have this year plus another remaining on his contract with a $6 million cap hit. They should also receive a player highly motivated to turn the page on the last few months and years of his career in Colorado. For months, there was trade talk involving Duchene as the years of losing and misery began to pile up for the Avalanche and the third overall pick from 2009.

at the end of a five-year, Turris, $17.5 million contract and a pending unrestricted free agent, was in the process of signing a six-year,Kyle Turris is reportedly on his way to Nashville. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, $36 million contract extension with the Predators, which would keep him off the open market this summer.

Falling two wins short of a Stanley Cup in June, the Predators boast a formidable top-three group on the blue line, though they’re missing Ryan Ellis after news broke in September that he could miss four to six months following offseason surgery. This deal gives them another top center in addition to Ryan Johansen, as they look to climb the Western Conference standings and get back into the position of being a championship contender. Johansen is right now struggling without a goal on the season and only seven points in 14 games so far.

Nashville has a 7-5-2 record and 16 points — the same amount as the San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks, Avalanche, Dallas Stars and Chicago Blackhawks.

And finally, to the Avalanche. adidas Joe Pavelski jersey,This has been a decent start to the season for them after the disaster of 2016-17, although today’s game against the Islanders certainly isn’t going their way. In moving Duchene, the return from Nashville and Ottawa is a healthy set of prospects and draft picks.

forward Vladislav Kamenev and a second-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft from the Nashville Predators,The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Samuel Girard, adidas Kris Letang jersey, as well as forward Shane Bowers, goaltender Andrew Hammond, a first-round selection in the 2018 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in 2019 from the Ottawa Senators.

That would, in all likelihood, adidas Jake Guentzel jersey, give the Avalanche two first-round picks and two second-round picks in 2018, and five selections in the opening three rounds.

This is significant for both the Predators and Senators. Both teams made it to the 2017 conference championship series and, it appears they’re both intent on trying to make lengthy runs at the Stanley Cup again next spring., after the price they paid today to land key centers for their respective lineups

Give the Bruins credit for the way they are hanging tough amid injuries and the expected learning-curve inconsistencies of their young players.

The Black and Gold have taken points in each of their past six games,Authentic Joe Thornton jersey, including their past four all against teams in playoff position: Authentic Joe Pavelski jersey, the San Jose Sharks, it's allowed them to remain within a couple of points of a playoff spot with the fewest games played in the Eastern Conference., L.A. Kings, Columbus Blue Jackets and Vegas Golden Knights. While clearly not playing dominant hockey or even a clear-cut winning brand of pucks

The Bruins will have to continue doing that with a rugged November schedule ahead of them. Still, adidas Patrick Marleau jersey, so good with a formula of tight-checking, it's been so far, productive power play and quality goaltending expected to pull them through the hard times. In the end, veteran Brad Marchand thinks they'll be better off for learning how to survive with David Krejci, David Backes, Adam McQuaid and Anton Khudobin all currently out of commission., Ryan Spooner, Noel Acciari

"We've been playing some pretty decent hockey," said Marchand. "We're working on different areas of our game and those areas continue to improve. As long as we continue to get points we'll continue to grow our game and trend upward., especially based on the guys that we've been missing

"It's good adversity. You need to learn how to win in every situation. You need to learn how to win when you're missing guys, when you're at full health and when you're tried from back-to-backs or whatever it is. You need to learn how to win those games because the best teams thrive throughout the year. You really can't have excuses at the end of the year [over] whether you're in the playoffs or not. You can't look back and say ‘if you weren't missing so many guys then you would've been in the playoffs.' It doesn't matter at the end of the day."

The undermanned Bruins have welcomed the challenge of adversity by picking up points even when all seemed lost, such as falling behind 3-0 in Columbus early in the game. In the good news department, will begin practicing with the team again next week., Spooner and Acciari are skating again and it appears Acciari, the former Providence College standout

But only 10 players on the Bruins roster have played in all 11 games just a month into the season. That means they've needed to get results while never once enjoying the opening-night roster that they envisioned at the start of training camp. That bodes well for this group in the short term, if they can hold on a little bit longer until good health begins swinging their away again., and long term
